Our Mission

Our partnership with PSIA-AASI and Northern Brotherhood of Snowsports (NBS) allows all three organizations to continue exposing, educating, supporting, and advancing inclusion in snowsports.

Why It Matters

BIWOC women and LGBTQIA+ individuals comprise the most excluded and underrepresented demographic in Snowsports.

As a group of diverse women in Snowsports, we want to see change in our industry. Rather than waiting, we are creating the change we want to see…which is inclusivity!

Scholarship Options

WoW x PSIA-AASI

Open to BIWOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals and those comfortable in women-centered spaces.

WoW x NBS

Open to current financial members of NBS.

Scholarship Requirements:

Applicant must:

Identify as a Black, Indigenous, Woman of Color or non-binary/gender non-conforming individual comfortable in women-centered spaces
Have an interest in or currently works as a snowboard instructor
Demonstrate leadership qualities in PSIA-AASI or another industry
Snowboard comfortably down intermediate terrain at a ski resort (linking turns comfortably between your heel and toe edge)

Scholarship Includes:

Level I event preparation fee
Level I certification exam fee
PSIA-AASI membership dues from November 2025-June 2026
Lift tickets for preparation and exam days
Snowboard gear from our sponsors:
- Rossignol snowboard
- Giro helmet and goggles
- Hestra gloves/mittens
- Phunkshun facemasks/balaclavas

Aside from Rossignol, remaining gear is not guaranteed. Gear offered is subject to changes or additions in sponsors. Snowboard recipients are required to bring their own bindings.
