Sustained and enduring change requires investment. Specialized certifications create pathways for scholarship recipients to continue pursuing leadership in Snowsports and the Outdoor Industry.

The Children’s Specialist Level 1 Certification (CS1) course is for instructors embarking on the journey toward mastery of the art of children’s snowsports instruction.

Application Prerequisites

Applicant must be a past recipient of a Women of Winter x PSIA-AASI Level I Alpine or Snowboard certification and scholarship.

Scholarship Includes:

• 2 day PSIA-AASI Children’s Specialist Level I e-learning, in-person course and exam

• Lift tickets for exam dates

• Discounted lift tickets for two days (optional)

• Welcome reception

• Gear talk with Rossignol

• Graduation Ceremony

LOCATION: Big Sky Resort, Big Sky, Montana

PROGRAM DATES: February 27-28, 2026

APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 15th, 2025

 Please note. If you apply for and/or receive a scholarship this season (2025-26) and and are not able to participate in the program, you’ll need to reapply for the same scholarship for next season (2026-27). Lodging and transportation are not included.

Please note that the scholarship only covers the course tuition and lift passes.

It does not cover any other expenses (i.e. food, travel or accommodations etc).
